April Lacheur is a self-taught artist living in Courtenay on Vancouver Island. She is becoming known for her bright and bold acrylic paintings which have been described as both contemporary and unique. Most well-known for her whimsical trees and bright flowers April has recently started painting funky animals and interesting multi-medium pieces. Her work has been shown around Vancouver Island and Vancouver and is part of private collections in Canada, Australia
